Malaysian Astro Sales Presentation
Moses Chan, Tavia Yeung, Jason Chan and Eliza Sam promoted TVB latest dramas in
Malaysia
(Hong Kong – 30 November 2012) Over the years, TVB has been delivering a number of grand
productions to the Malaysian audiences through collaboration with Astro. TVB dramas have always
become the talk of the town. In a bid to attend Astro Sales Presentation and meet the Malaysian fans,
Moses Chan, Tavia Yeung, Jason Chan and Eliza Sam flew to Malaysia during 22 – 24 November.
To cater the needs of overseas Chinese, TVB has long been producing top-quality and various
Chinese TV programmes and delivering to the Malaysia through Astro platform. Apart from the
Astro-On-Demand (AOD) Channel, which allows the audiences enjoy the first-run TVB dramas,
Astro Wah Lai Toi also delivered latest TVB dramas and programmes, gaining a high recognition in
Malaysia. During 22-24 November, TVB four popular artistes, Moses Chan, Tavia Yeung, Jason
Chan and Eliza Sam arrived at Malaysia to attend Astro Sales Presentation in order to promote latest
TVB programmes on Astro Wah Lai Toi. On the first day, they shared their bits and pieces with the
press of Astro MY FM and Astro Touch e-magazine.
On the next day, the four artistes were invited to attend the exclusive meet & greet event with Astro
subscribers at Hilton Kuala Lumpur. Not only share their news, but they also presented newest TVB
Wall Calendar 2013 and TVBuddy souvenirs. Every attendee is contended with artistes’ photographs
and autographs. The four artistes immediately arrived at the venue of the grand Astro Sales
Presentation. Wah Lai Toi trailers were first presented, followed by marvellous singing and dancing
performance by Astro artistes. With warm welcome by the audiences, the four TVB artistes showed
up on the stage. As this was the first time for Eliza Sam visiting Malaysian fans, she was surprised at
the enthusiasm of the audiences. She gained popularity with her performance in Divas In Distress
and she also introduced her courageous and challenging role in Tiger Cubs II. Jason Chan also
promoted his upcoming drama Missing You with his leading role as a social worker. And, Tavia
Yeung won a round of applause with her role in Silver Spoon, Sterling Shackles while Moses Chan,
the coffee prince, talked about his newest drama Will Power. The four artistes expressed their
greatest appreciation for the continuous support from Malaysian audiences.
While the visit coming to the end, the four artistes arrived at Cheras Leisure Mall and AEON Mall to
meet their fanatic fans. They got up closely with the audiences and played interactive games with
them. Except promoting TVB dramas, they hyped up the atmosphere by delivering awesome singing

performances. The events were successfully concluded. TVB and Astro will strengthen the
collaboration and continuously provide brilliant TV programmes to the Malaysian fans!
