Mode  of  Operation……….  " bd   venture   comprises   office   staff   and   a   board   of  directors   who   are   responsible   for   overseeing   and  approving   the   applicaTon   process.   They   look   over   the  proposal,  financial  statements,  projecTons,  interview  the  owner,   visit   the   operaTons,   gather   various   other  informaTon   to   assess   if   the   business   is  worth   invesTng  in.  Ajer  that  assessment,  bd  venture  will  negoTate  with  the   project   promoter/business   owner   and   come   to   an  agreement.   The   details   of   the   memorandum   of  understanding  must  be  agreed  upon  by  both  the  parTes.  The   staff  of  bd  venture  will   regularly  monitor   the   sales,  growth  and  other  financials  to  see  how  well  the  business  is  performing.

" By investing in a business, bd venture effectively becomes part owner of the business. The investee company will not have to repay the capital; rather, the venture capitalist expect to take a return on capital gains.  The investee company will have a sizeable amount of money to work with, while the venture capitalist takes an active role in managing the company to ensure its success.
