SITUATION IN SPAIN

• The situation in Spain in the last years has been hard and difficult.

• Unemployment is a big problem. Unemployment rate is one of the highest in Europe.

• There have been cuts in Education and Health.• Young qualified people have to emigrate to

other countries to get a job.

The Green Tide is a movement

in defense of public education and against the privatization of education.

THE DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS SAYS:

Education shall be directed to the full development of the human personality and to the strengthening of respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms.
