n when something happened. it is hard to figure out whats happening
n User Interface for service providers
n Would be nice to have some guidelines on what parts are necessary to monitor, and how to monitor.
n Is there really Amazon EC2/S3 API support? For some reason the interaction with my billing system (…) and the CloudStack API is extremely slow and very CPU intensive (a few minutes to generate a single invoice for one month). I am not sure if it will scale.
n The error logs are to hard to parse and find what's wrong with the environment
n * Backup and Recovery of VMs in CloudStack is very inconsistent and slow on KVM. * Need java applet style uploads into CloudStack stores (something like vCloud) * Logging and control of the underlying infrastructure is immature * Needs progress bars in UI for longer running tasks with details displayed * Bunch of other stuff that could be improved .....

n Console Proxy needs to be faster. I hear this all the time from our customers. Automated Zone failover and/or Region failover has been another big - repeated request. Better monitoring, down to the VM level.
