RAMGARH GAS THERMAL power plant
Located at – near Ramgarh town60 KM far from Jaislmer dist.(Raj.)
UNIT – 1 GAS TURBINE 1 – 35.5 MWUNIT – 2 GAS TURBINE 2 – 37.5 MW STEAM TURBINE 1 – 37.5 MWUNIT - 3 GAS TURBINE 3 – 110 MW STEAM TURBINE 2 – 50 MW
Natural Gas for plant is supplied by GAIL from Gamnewala.
The Natural gas mainly consist of :- Nitrogen - 31.9064 % Methane – 48.5668 % Carbon Dioxide – 18.8793 %
Water is taken from Indira Ghandi Canal.
DM PLANT Before feeding the water in the boiler it is Deminarlised in the DM plant otherwise it can cause of corrosion

HEAT RECOVERY STEAM GENERATOR
EVAPORATOR :-
The evaporator receives the incoming heated feed water from the economizer and generates saturated steam, the evaporator will operate at constant saturation temperature.

The turbine used in this power plant is consist of 3 parts as follows:-
(1.) high pressure turbine(HPT) (2.) intermediate pressure turbine(IPT) (3.) low pressure turbine(LPT)
A steam turbine works on the principle of conversion of High pressure & temperature steam into high Kinetic energy , thereby giving torque to a moving rotor.
WORKING OF STEAM TURBINE
GENERATOR GENERATOR is a device which convert
mechanical energy (i.e. rotation of rotor) into the electrical energy. In this power plant each generator has 2 poles. Field wdg is excited by brushless dc exitation
system.
CONDENSOR A condensor is a component which convert
steam into water coming from steam turbine.
