How to add images to your post

Click on ‘Posts’

Click on your post (in this case, Jose Antonio’s). This is in order to EDIT it.

You will be able to see it so you can edit it.

It´s supossed that you previously added an image. Now, click on ‘Add an Image’. It is the first image next to Upload/Insert

Go to ‘Gallery’. You will see all your images.

Jose Antonio has 5 images….which one do you want to show in the main page?

In this case, we choose ‘Justificacion’. Then, click on ‘Show’

You will see this window with all the characteristics of the image (name, size, date of uploading, etc). Go to Link URL and copy the entire link.

After copying it, close the window.

In Custom Fields, paste the URL in ‘Value’, and select what kind of image it will be: lead_image or secondary_image. (You can see the difference of both in the last slide).

What we do here is to add the image as lead_image and secondary_image. For both cases, paste the URL.

Finally, click on ‘Update’ in order to save the changes.

You will have the image related to your post in the main page. As you see, there´s a difference between lead_image (the big one), and the secondary_image (the small one). If the image looks wider, different, larger, you should modify it using any sotware… You should also check this link for more info regarding to wordpress: http://5thirtyone.com/the-unstandard
