WebScan – Campaign & Package Info Tab
Best Practices• Be detailed
• What you enter in the Advertiser and Campaign Name carries all the way through to the Double-Click Ad server
• Campaign Flight dates• Sets your default line item start and end dates• If you go back and adjust – they will not reset all line items• Locked in the Change Order
• ‘Shopping Cart’• When possible select a preexisting package as it takes the guess work
out of product, section, cost and flight type • If you need a new package added or would like to remove packages
from your rate card contact your campaign specialist
• Use Save and Continue in the change order• Using Save and Continue will combat bug in pre-November 17th order

Best Practices• Be mindful of impressions and cost if a package was ordered
• WebScan prorates based on 30 days in a month
• Products dictate sections available• If you would like to limit the sections displayed - contact your
campaign specialist
• Use the duplicate button whenever possible• Write down which product is which for use on the Creative
Direction tab• i.e. Leaderboard 1 = March• Upcoming feature to address this functionality
• Save as you go • Points will be displayed
• Cancel line item (change order only)• Choose it for each line item if you need to cancel your entire order

New Features• Expand All
• Opens all line item details to review all fields (product, sections, flight type, etc.)
• Select/Deselect All• The ability to "Select All" sections while ordering a product.
• The ability to uncheck individual sections you would like to exclude.
• Activating “Alert” messages (the red exclamation points): • Alert messages automatically open the line item/product’s “Edit
Details” information to indicate cause for alert.
• Date Validation• User not able to enter a start date in the past.
• If user edits an order that has been previously started, WebScan will alert you that it has updated the start date to today

Upcoming features• Custom naming of line items:
• Providing the ability to name line items on the “Targeting Info” tab, rather than using WebScan’s automatic naming convention of “<product name> + <sections>”.
• Mass changes• Ability to change multiple fields on multiple line items at once
– I.E. change all dates, cost or impressions

Best Practices• What you select in the “Will you be providing ALL creative items
for this campaign?” will dictate options available at the line item level
• Make sure you are selecting “No. I want to request AT LEAST ONE creative production for this campaign” if you are having IB create ANY element including flash video or pre-roll
• Use ‘Same As’ option when applicable• Be sure you are choosing ‘Same As’ the element you have provided
direction/creative on
• To reference past creative or the client will be providing at a later date
• Choose “Creative Provided” – Enter Client URL– Reference Past Campaign or “Client providing on such and such date date” in
Description Field
• Be sure not to type in the File Upload ‘Browse’ box• Save as you go
• Points will be displayed

• Re-working of “same as” option (multiple ad sets, versioning)
• Option to name creative ad requests and creative provided ads
• Overall campaign creative direction changes
