Background

Check

All Firearm transactions will require a

background check

(COLRADO ONLY FEE)

As of July 1, 2013 Colorado (CBI) instated

a fee to conduct a Background Check

We must first collect the fee BEFORE

submitting the background check

Simply input CBI for the sku

It will charge $7 for each background

check

Reference

The more information the better!!

Utilize the reference field to collect the

customers

to fill out the required 4473 and

background check

All Firearms MUST be rung under the

#103800 Firearm Account

Simply enter 103800 in the customer field

at the top of the screen

Press Enter

A series of pop-up boxes will prompt

1. Customer may not charge

To get to the Customer Information

F11 again to return to POS screen

Now scan the firearm and select qty

Ensure it is the correct description and

pricing

Enter to Post

GTERMS

Must attach GTERMS for

All Firearm and Ammunition purchases

Be sure to let you customer know that

All Firearm and Ammunition Purchases

are FINAL

Once Posted it will also print on the

customers receipt.

Capture

The GTERMS will initiate a signature

capture on the Pin Pad

The customer must sign acknowledging

that there are no refunds or exchanges

on firearms or ammunition

Now you will choose which tender the

customer will pay with to complete the

transaction

Be sure to print an additional copy of

the invoice. 1copy will go to your

customer, and the other will attach to the

4473 packet to file.

Here is an example of where all the information we captured in the

Customer Information Screen now shows on the invoice of the sale.

Note where the customer & Firearm information print.

Feel free to highlight the serial # and let the customer know to keep the record in

a safe place.

3. Copy of Background Fee Paid (CO only)

4. Copy of Transaction

5. Attach the boot tag to the front left corner

and staple all together

In the POS Screen you will select the

Quick find Button located on the menu

corner of the screen under File and

select

A Pop-up box will prompt and you will

Now Select your store you are wishing to

view

Once you view has loaded you may now

sort from any of the columns shown

Simply right click on the column to sort

and choose Filter On

You will input what information you are

wanting to look for

Select Apply Now

If it is a large search it will confirm that

you want to continue the search

It will show your results

Now you have the information needed to

find your 4473 in a timely manor
