Pilgrimage to the Shrine of Our Lady of Kibeho

Feast Day – Nov. 28, 2010

• Our Lady appeared to a high school student, Alphonsine, November 28, 1981 in the remote village of Kibeho, Rwanda. Our Lady introduced herself to Alphonsine as the Mother of the Word. By April of 1982, two more young ladies, Anathalie and Mary Clare, were receiving apparitions of Mary.

The Terrible Vision

• On August 15, 1982, Mary appeared to the visionaries, one after another. She was weeping very sorrowfully. She said that she had appeared for nothing. She showed the young ladies, one after another, the vision of people being killed with machetes, decapitated corpses and a river of blood.
