• PHOTOGRAPHIC UPDATE 26TH APRIL 2014 BY RICHARD PEARSON • PHOTOGRAPHIC UPDATE 20TH APRIL

Who forgot to lock the front gate on Friday evening! After local children had a joyous time playing on the scaffolding and running around the Lovell construction site in Limmen Gardens, I wondered in to take a series of photographs of the 15 buildings under construction. It is clear that quite a lot of progress has been made, and work has now begun on the new road that will allow off road parking for the new homes. I also photographed inside the new houses at the side of 55 Limmen showing the living space.

PHOTOGRAPHIC UPDATE 20TH APRIL 2014 BY RICHARD PEARSON

THE construction works by Keepmoat Homes Ltd is presently half completed, and the site managers advise that they are about 3 months ahead of schedule. All of the new homes have now been sold and the first occupants moved in six weeks ago.

Phase 2 in Flewitt Gardens is now being worked on and I am told this section should be completed by mid July. Construction teams are working on the sections of new link road at the site of Rocket Park, and at the bottom of the present Flewitt Gardens Road.

Keepmoat Homes will be doing some charity work on Stonebridge City Farm after Easter. As the Secretary of Stonebridge Park TRA I was involved in highlighting the Nottingham City Council Work Place Parking levy which cost Keepmoat Homes Ltd £12,000. Please see the newspaper report from the Evening Post published 18th April, 2014, at the end of this update.
