USE OF CASH-FOR-WORK INCOME “The CFW project not only had immediate

benefits, but it also restored and healed groups of friends, neighbors and families.

After the devastation caused by the typhoon, it was therapeutic for people to restore the village in which they lived and reclaim what was taken from them.

With their earnings, people bought nutritious foods for their families, purchased medicine, started small businesses, and purchased materials to rebuild damaged housing. ”

“Little by little we recover. We do not know how long it will take to recover. We think more than a year. But the Word of God gives us hope. Agencies like World Renew that have come to help us have also given us hope to rebuild our lives.”
