Peripheral VisionPeripheral Vision is a project aimed at everyone, especially those on the edge of society. Through the innovative use of new digital media and visits to cultural venues in Greater Manchester and beyond, learners have had the opportunity to take part in film, art, creative writing, photography, and textiles courses within their communities.

About

What lessons have I learnt?

Choose the project title with care! The initial project idea may change in

unexpected ways. Both people, and courses, need structure and

direction.Organising the transport was, at times, hellish.On-line data collection is random and

unpredictable.Tutors and Learners need lessons in Word

Press.

The best bits:

Small class sizeMeeting some of the

learnersThe excellent

workshops at the cultural venues

Enthusiasm of the WEA tutors

Community partners’ engagement and support

Thank you

But most of all, thank you to…

…all of the Peripheral Vision learners:

Your enthusiasm has been infectious!Your commitment has been great!Your creativity has been inspirational!

You are a credit to yourselves, your family and friends, your communities and WEA.
