THEME OF “PEOPLE ARE PEOPLE” AND

MAIN CHARACTER

My book is intended to deliver a very simple message that I believe will teach children and adults all over the world to look at each other with love, respect and equality. People are People delivers a message about the cultural traits and beliefs that make people different and the most important human traits that make people the same.

The main character in the story is a young boy in a gray suit. He is included with the characters and landscapes that are painted throughout the book. The boy represents humanity and equality. We learn that People come in all different sizes, shapes, colors, cultures and nationalities. The moral of this book is that we are all human. We all smile, cry, hug, sing, play…and most importantly, WE ALL LOVE!

There’re millions of places people reside.

The World has people where ever you go,

From mountains high to deserts below.

People live on Islands with sand and trees,

People live in Igloos where some may freeze.

People live in the cold and live in the warm,

We live through tornadoes, we live through a storm.

People live in the North, they live in the South,

We all talk with our hands, our ears and our mouth.

There are millions of people from East to West, We all have a heart in the middle of our chest.

Some people live in the Mountains or deserts below,

We all are babies before we grow.

We all share the water, the earth and the sky.

We greet with hello, and leave with good by.

We share the moon, the stars and the Sun,

People are people, we love to have fun.

We all share the land, the oceans and sky,

All people laugh and all people cry.

People live in snow others live in rain,

We all feel love, we all feel pain.

People sleep in beds, cots or hay,

All People laugh, when they are at play.

People love to be on a team,

All people sleep and all people dream.

All over the world, people go to school,

From Germany to Spain, people play in a pool.

We all have hands, and feet and toes,

All over the world we all wear clothes.

People live in homes and huts and trees,

All over the world people pray on their knees.

From France to Egypt, from Mexico to Greece, As long as there’s love we can all live in Peace.

There are thousands of languages, you can hear,

People are People, no need to fear.

Where ever you go, people wear shoes.

People play piano, drums and the bass, We all love music, in the human race.

When we hug each other our hearts will swell.

There are millions of foods people eat,

All people laugh, when you tickle their feet.

People eat bugs, others eat bread. In order to live, we all must be fed.

What is disgusting to one person, may be a treat.

Some people like food that is spicy and hot,

We all have a treat that hits the spot.
