Foundations of a Civilization A civilization is a centralized society with
developed forms of religion, ways of governing and learning.
Often civilizations shared parts of their society with other civilizations, which is called cultural diffusion
A civilization depends on a stable food supply, common government and a division of labor.
Division of labor is where different members of society do different tasks based on their abilities and the group needs.
