How I percieve it….It is a changing pain, discontinued, that

accentuates when I wake up and into the night.

In many cases it also intensifies during periods I disminish my physical activity and stress (holidays, weekends)

How do I face the pain to make it compatible with my daily life ……………● Pharmacological treatments: NSAIDs, Paracetamol, immunosuppresants, biological treatments and steroids

● Non pharmacological treatments:Physical therapy, adapted and personalized

physical training, training inergonomic aids for joints and psychological counseling

Keys to living with chronic pain

● Do not wait for having no pain to normalize life, work life, leisure, moderate physical exercise ... because it could take time.

● Search solutions with common sense; cycles of rest and controlled exercise or activity, according to pain intensity.

● Know when and how pain presents

● Accept reality without unrealistic expectations.

Keys to living with chronic pain

● Do not search others to blame (doctors, relatives, colleagues at work). This only brings uncertainty about how stopping it and thinking the solution depends from others.

● Prioritize the objectives in life.

● If the pain is something we can not avoid, adapt early so it does not drive our lives.

What does a patient with chronic pain needs

● Pharmacological treatments that suit the age and production activity

● Multidisciplinary teams with the ability to maintain an adequate program

● Therapies to reduce painPhysical therapyPersonalized physical exercisePsychological attention

Keys to approach the pain of people and professionals around the patient

● Paying adequate attention: the patient with C.P. feels not understood

● Highlight the acceptable moments and decentralize the pain from the patient's life

● Keep the spirit and will of the affected.

● Accept trial and error, there is no homogeneous pain, nor golden rules.
