What is EntryPoint?EntryPoint enables clinicians to complete their ordering and order sets using
computers and mobile tablet devices. Order sets in EntryPoint look very similar
to pre-printed order sets. Clinicians can select optional orders, enter ree text
orders and uncheck pre-selected orders as needed or the patient. A typical

Completing an Order Set
Using EntryPointLog In and Find Your Patient: Open EntryPoint rom within your hospital EMR
and you will automatically be logged in and brought to your current patient. At
your option, its possible to manually log in and look up any patient by name or
hospital ID number as well.
Select Your Order Set: Each clinician has a list o their avourite order sets they
can select rom. This list is created automatically based on the requency that an
order set is used by that clinician. Less requently used order sets can be oundby searching by name, diagnosis, location used or other order set attributes.
Clinicians also always have the option to select a blank order page.
Complete Order Set: Select optional orders, unselect preselected orders or add
ree text orders as required.
Submit Completed Order Set: Once completed, click on submit, enter your
password and the order set will be saved to a secure database.
Print Orders: Click on the print button and any number o copies o the
completed order set or order page can be printed or use by the health care team.
Multi-site Automatic Printing Feature: I desired at the time o printing,
electronic copies can be sent to other departments such as pharmacy.

EntryPoint AnalyticsReal-Time Data
Use the EntryPoint Analytics module or real-time data on all orders entered using
EntryPoint. EntryPoint Analytics can be deployed at the point-o-care to your
clinicians and administrators via a My Statistics tab integrated into EntryPoint.
Your organization can set organizational parameters around who can view
the data and in what orm. The data is real-time and does not require special
reporting sotware to access.
Key eatures include:
Data on Individual Physician/Clinician Ordering Practices: The requency
that any order is being used by a clinician can be viewed.
Comparative Ordering Data:The requency that all clinicians are ordering any
individual order can be viewed in an easy to view histogram.

Sending Completed Ordersor ProcessingCompleted orders and order sets are saved to a secure database. Clinicians can
then print out copies to be processed by the health care team (the number o
copies can be determined by your organization).
Additionally, the Multi-Site Automatic Printing eature can be used or
printing order sets at the correct location at multi-site hospitals. This can be
particularly useul or having order sets print in the correct location o a hospital
department such as a pharmacy. For example, a hospital with multiple sites,
each with its own pharmacy can now automatically print the order set at the
appropriate location. This can be set up or as many departments as required.

EntryPoint is mobile! EntryPoint Mobile allows you to use all the eatures o
EntryPoint on mobile devices such as an iPad or Android tablet. The application

devices and workstations as needed.
