A Resistor is an electrical component that restricts the flow of electric current. You could use a resistor if you need less power to go to a part of your project. !

Capacitors store energy - much like a battery. They control the flow of electricity. !

A Potentiometer is a simple knob that provides a variable resistance (i.e. changing resistance with the turn of the knob) !

Integrated Circuits, often called “chips”, are a set of electronic circuits on one small plate. Chips hold memory and allow your projects to be “programmed” - meaning you can tell them what to do. !

Transistors regulate current or voltage flow and act as a switch or gate for electronic signals/ !
