• Sharpened pencils, erasers, a ruler and a small box of coloured pencils

Expectations for all students
ATTIRE AND APPEARANCEStudents are expected to be neatly attired at all times.
Attire• Students are to wear the prescribed uniform. • Strictly no modifications to the uniforms and PE attire allowed.• House T-shirts and PE shorts are only to be worn during CCA, PE
and PAL lessons.• The house T-shirt must be tucked in neatly when worn.

General Expectations for all students
• No jewellery or any item of personal adornment (e.g. bracelets, necklaces, wristbands, etc.) is to be worn.
• Nails must be kept short and without nail polish.
• No make-up should be worn in school.
• No tinting, bleaching and colouring of hair. Students with coloured hair will be required to dye their hair back to the original colour.

General Expectations for all students
Footwear permitted• Plain white shoes that provide support for sporting
activities (e.g. white canvas or white track shoes).• No doll shoes or leather shoes allowed.• Only shoes with shoelaces and velcro fasteners are
allowed.• Only plain white socks that cover the ankles.

Hair
Girls
Fringe / bangs must not go below the eyebrows.
Long hair to be tied or plaited into one or two plaits.
Only black hair accessories (e.g. hair band, hair pins / clips) are allowed.
Multiple piercings are strictly forbidden, and the piercing can only be on
the earlobe.
A matching pair of small, plain studs or transparent ear sticks may be
worn.
The length of school skirts should cover the knees.

Hair
Boys• Boys must be clean-shaven and neat in appearance.• Hair must be kept short and neat.• Hair must not cover the forehead, touch the eyebrows or shirt
collar.• The fringe must not touch the eyebrows when it is combed down.• Hair at the back of the head must be sloped.• No outlandish hairstyles (e.g. layered, shaved, spiky) are allowed.• No sideburns are allowed.

Safety and Security
If Your Child Is Sick
• With fever and rashes, vomiting, flu-like symptoms, having
HFMD or contagious diseases, please seek medical help
• Inform the school that your child is ill and the days your child
will be away from school
• Provide a medical certificate or a letter of excuse to your
child’s from teacher upon return to school.

Safety and Security
If Your Child Is Sick in school and you are unable to pick
him/her up, please
• Arrange for an adult family member or care-giver to do so
• Provide a letter identifying the person who is picking
him/her up and authorising him/her to do so
*The person picking him/her up is to report to the General Office
first and sign an early departure form

Please provide us a copy of:• Medical records if your child is suffering from an ailment that we
should take note• Relevant Legal documents from Courts of Law where relevant

To build your child’s independence and self confidence, parents are strongly discouraged from coming to school during curriculum time.
For safety reasons, the school does not encourage anyone to come into the school premises unnecessarily.

Parent-Teacher Appointments
• To meet up with your child’s teacher, please make an appointmentwith the teacher to avoid disappointment. (* Appointments can only take place after school.)

Homework may be a continuation of work started in classPlease

• School books
A schedule will be given to your child for the collection of his/her
school books for each subject. Please adhere to the schedule given.
• Temperature Taking Exercise
Your child will receive a complimentary Oral Digital Thermometer.
He/she will be learning to use it to measure own body temperature
during Temperature Taking Exercise. The thermometers will be kept in
school for safe-keeping.
