Late Buses are provided on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays

A MESSAGE FROM THE CLINIC

AA

• Your child may not start school on Tuesday if

the clinic does not have documentation of

their TDAP vaccination.

MEDICATION POLICY

• Students may not bring medications of any kind

to school without authorization from both a

doctor and a parent. If your child needs

medication at school, please contact the school

nurse about these forms. You can also download

them from the school website (under the Clinic

link)

INJURIES

If your child is injured, has had surgery or an illness, a

concussion, or any other condition that requires them

to miss PE or any other class, you must provide a

doctor's note. We will accept a note from a parent

excusing a child from PE for up to 2 days. For 3 days or

longer, we must have a note from a doctor.

THINGS TO REMEMBER:

Cell phones must be turned off and put away in student lockers

No IPADS in the cafeteria during lunch

No backpacks allowed in class

COMMUNICATION IS KEY

• Please monitor the school website for information

• Utilize parent view / student view to check assignments and

grades

• If you have a concern about a class please contact the

teacher/counselor/assistant principal

LMS/Google Classroom •Students get access code to enroll into Google Classroom from their teachers.•We will be transitioning to Canvas as our learning management system (LMS) during this school year.

•Receive specific class assignments and materials.•Students electronically submit work back to their teachers.

StudentVue•Students log in with their APS OneLogin username and password.•Homework assignments are posted within Class Websites.•Need to use Safari app on iPads or a computer to view Class Websites.

• Bring iPad home every day and bring iPad fully charged to school every day.

• Bring iPad to every class. Store in gym lockers for PE.

• Submit Student Tech. Request through WMS homepage for any technical help or damage.

• Demonstrate positive digital citizenship while using all APS technology resources.

• Lock screen should an image of the student or a way to identify them.

Understanding the APS iPad

• Filtering server.

• More filters while on APS wifi.

• App Store can’t be found on iPad.

• APS has an App Catalog that is managed. Apps found within the App Catalog have gone through an approval process.

• Parents can request specific apps for their child’s iPad through an online form.
