Near the west shore of the south portion of the flowage, look for an island bounded by a white picket fence.

It contains a memorial (built by Jon & Kathleen Marsh) for Wisconsin soldiers

who lost their lives for us in Iraq & Afghanistan.

There is a dock; you are welcome to stop and pay your respects to these men &

women who made the supreme sacrifice for us.
