CHRIST CHURCHIn the place where there was an ancient Saxon eighth-century convent, founded by St. Frideswide, patron of Oxford, was built the College and the Cathedral in the thirteenth

century. The cathedral is the chapel of the College while Cathedral of the Diocese of Oxford.

Vidriera del siglo XIV que representa a Thomas Becket, arzobispo de Canterbury, martirizado por los soldados de Enrique II y conservada a pesar de la orden de Enrique VIII de destruir todas sus imágenes.

Stained glass from the 14th century, representing Thomas Becket, archbishop of Canterbury, during his martyrdom carried out by the soldiers of Henry II. Preserved in spite of the destruction ordered by Henry VIII.

The Great Hall was replicated in the film studios to create Hogwart's Hall in the film Harry Potter.

Oratorio Católico de San Aloysius Gonzaga. Originalmente fue una iglesia jesuítica de una nave y cinco capillas laterales. El altar fue donado por Lord Bute en 1878.

Catholic Oratory of St Aloysius Gonzaga. It was originally founded as a Jesuit parish. The church consists of a single nave and five side chapels. The altar was given by Lord Bute in 1878.

St Mary Virgin.

Es la mayor de las iglesias parroquiales de Oxford, y el centro desde el que la Universidad creció. Está construida en gótico inglés y pertenece a la Iglesia de Inglaterra. Destaca su porche barroco , y su órgano.

It is the largest of Oxford's parish churches and the centre from which the University of Oxford grew. It’s built in English Gothic style and belongs to the Anglican Church. It has a baroque porch and a great organ.

Esta iglesia fue finalizada en 1878. Fue construida en estilo neo-gótico en memoria de los hermanos John y Charles Wesley, fundadores del movimiento Metodista dentro de la Iglesia Anglicana.

Methodist church

This church, finished in 1878, was buit in Revival Gothic style and conmemorates the memory of brothers John and Carles Wesley founders of Methodist movement in the Church of England.
