Lessons from the Passover (brainstorm)
• remove the leaven• kill the lamb• shed the blood• flay the skin• make it personal! Ex. 13:8 – it was NOT just a
remembrance of past events, but personal events of God at work!
The ONLY recorded occurrences of the Passover feast being ‘kept’
Original Passover - Exodus 12
In Sinai - Numbers 9
In the Promised Land under Joshua - Joshua 5:10-11
In Hezekiah’s Day - 2 Chronicles 30:1-18
In Josiah’s 18th Year - 2 Kings 23:21-23
In Ezra’s day - Ezra 6:19-22
Word Study: “Colouring-In” exercise!
“prepared”/ “ready” = to stand straight and firm (same Heb word)
2 Chronicles 35: 4, 6, 10, 14 (twice), 15, 16, 20
Only after ‘preparing’ ourselves can we help others! (Matthew 7:5 – mote & beam)
We cannot expect to influence others with God’s Word if we have not been influenced ourselves!
