Method : Ostrich Game

1. To help the students learn new words.

2. To train intelligence when students find a way to see the opponent's cards.

3. To motivate the students to learn in a room without boredom.

Objective

How to play

Teachers will use a clothespin attach a card to the back of

students.

Both of students have to cross the arms behind their backs

and turn face to face.

When the teacher shout, "Go!", students must prevent the opponent to

see their cards on the back of their own. They need to see your

opponent's card.

If any student can tell what the card on opponent's back

is, will win.

Teachers should adjust the difficulty of the words to suit the level of the students.

Suggestions

Teachers may change from vocabulary card to picture card.
