Sharing Of Praises and Concerns

Pastoral Prayer

Pastor: This come week, the Lord will be sending boys and girls to you. They will be excited

and active. Some of the children will not have a lot of church experience. Many will

not know Jesus as Savior.

VBS Workers: We eagerly await Vacation Bible School. We

promise to receive each child with open arms, to be affirming and encouraging to each one.

We will love each child unconditionally.

 

VBS Director: Will you prepare with excellence? Will you bring

a positive attitude with you each evening? Will you be on time? Will you plant the seeds of the gospel in the lives of the

children?

VBS Workers: We will.

Pastor: Congregation, will you pray for our Vacation Bible School workers? Will you bring your children, grandchildren, and

neighborhood children to Vacation Bible School?

Congregation: We will.

VBS Director: Let us pray.

Sing them over again to me,

Let me more of their beauty see,
