What exactly isOpen Source?

It is culture.

It is free.

It is open.

It is software for everyone.

Why?

Because people cooperate.

Because people collaborate.

Because people communicate.

And because…

People share what they know.

The idea of giving free software

on the internet .

may seem ridiculous.

may seem stupid.

may seem crazy.

But

That are worth remembering.

May be sold or freely given away .

Especially that co-developers who are the users .

With open source, you are ??

not afraid of bringing it around

not afraid of using it

not afraid of empowering it

because YOU can bring it

because YOU can use it

because YOU can empower it.

Without open source ??

Is a world without freedom.

There would beno OpenOffice.orgno Javano Blender, GIMP, and

no Linux.

An operating system that, today, comes with many different flavors because of user support.

Simple Question and want Simple Answer

Is There Program or Project "Closed Source" makes leap in technology

Maybe there is ..... but not too much

ok .... what about programs "Open Source"

Linux operating system

Places use Linux

Androidoperating system for smart

phones

Apacheweb server

Ok but what is open data

Simply open data is containing open source

Open source only covers the software Data often lasts longer than software Data is more valuable when accessible Any code will be acceptable, any data won’t

so open data is :

“A piece of content or data is open if anyone is free to use, reuse, and redistribute it — subject only, at most, to the requirement to attribute and share-alike.”.

Sponsors may not get full value of research unless the results are made freely available. The rate of discovery often accelerates with better access to data. Data access is often required for the operation of communal human activities

Why should we create open data?

This presentation would have been really boring without the fully and partially open data

available from Wikipedia, Flickr and the open data projects

online!

Finally

Support your freedom.
