Message from the President
I'm sure everyone has enjoyed the beautiful weather we have been blessed with this summer. We can all
hope that autumn continues to be nice so it is easy for you to come to the center. I'm sure the nice weather
has helped attendance grow. Please continue to welcome new members and introduce yourself when you
don't recognize someone.
The new board of directors, along with the committees are hard at work planning activities for your enjoy-
ment. I encourage you to become involved, join a committee, offer to help with a fundraiser, enjoy the vari-
ous activities or have lunch. Please share your ideas! Board meetings are scheduled for the first Monday of
each month at 10:00 am. You are welcome to attend.
VERY IMPORTANT
Please remember to sign in by using the scanner when you arrive AND sign out when you leave. We re-
ceive our funding from the Commission on Aging based on the length of time you spend at the Center. This
means that signing out is very important.
The Annual Roast Beef Dinner will be October 9th from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm. Tickets are available in ad-
vance or at the door. The raffle drawing for the La-Z-Boy Chair will be held during the dinner. Raffle tick-
ets are $1 each or six for $5 and can be purchased at the center or from board members. All members are
invited to attend the Open House at the Senior Bedford Senior Center on November 15, 2015, from 1pm un-
til
