OPD Partnership History

Began July 2008: focus on data for community policing and beat level trends to support NCPC work

Supported by Councilmember Brooks and initiated with cooperation of Captain Rachal

Refined in July 2009 to focus on hot spot analysis of Burglary and Robbery with Captain Figueroa

In 2010 with Captain Joyner developed wider range of tools and analysis for Area 3

Mid 2010: Chief Batts asked us to demonstrate capacity to expand analysis to entire City and to focus on hot spot policing support
