Andrew de Silva, who tri-umphed at the 2012Australia's Got Talent

(AGT) competition, will be inColombo, in October this year(2013), according to his dad,Conrad, who is in town at themoment.

Andrew will be featured at acouple of gigs, said Conrad,including a concert with RandyCrawford.

And Andrewfinally did get some much neededexposure, after that famous AGTwin, by being invited to sing theAustralian national anthem atthe Australian Formula 1 GrandPrix in Melbourne, Australia.

According to Trevine Rodrigo,of the Lanka Times Melbourne,over a hundred thousand people

watched live as the former CDBsensation, Andrew, delivered afantastic version of the anthem.

Trevine also added that afterwinning AGT, Andrew has beenin serious production mode withhis producers as he negotiatesthe highly competitive musicscene here in Australia.

His first release, since signingup with Sony, is "Your Paradise."

In the meanwhile, dadConrad still looks awesomeon stage!

I checked out his perform-ance, at the Margarita Blue,Galadari Hotel, on Saturday,March 16th, 2013.

He did two sets and onboth occasions he got thecrowd all tuned up - some-thing which most of ourpresent day artistes areunable to accomplish. Andthat's because Conrad is atrue professional and heknows what entertainingis all about.

Conrad was a mega star,in the local showbiz world,decades ago, before decid-

ing to make Australia his home.He was known for his Tom

Jones-style delivery of his songsand, in fact, he did just that atthe Margarita Blue that particu-lar night.

Although 71, Conrad is stilloozing with stamina, and thefireworks are still there, onstage.
