Writing prompt for “The Contents of a Dead Man’s Pocket”

 Write an essay in which you name at least three ways in which Finney creates intense, hold-your-breath suspense. Consider the effects of the setting and the story’s title. Be sure to use evidence from the story to support your ideas.
