The Austrian Ambassadorand Mme. Oru be r werehonored last night at a dancegiven by Mr. and Mrs. JohnDavis.

The party took place at thehosts’ Arlington residence andit wasn’t hard to figure outwhat nationality the guests ofhonor were.

All the flowers were red andwhite (the colors of the Aus-trian flag), the hostess wore awhite organdy dress which hadred polka dots on the skirtsand the hot dish at the buffetsupper was Austrian goulash.

Some 150 guests weregreeted by the hosts and theGrubers in a receiving line.They then wandered out onthe terrace for dancing. Tablesseating 14 were placed aroundthe swimming pool and abuffet supper was served at 11o’clock. The setting was fur-ther beautified by scores ofJapanese lanterns.

Among those invited wereDominican Ambassador andSenora de Salazar, the Ko-rean Ambassador and Mme.Yang, the Bolivian Ambassa-dor and Senora de Andrade,Secretary General of the Or-ganization of American Statesand Senora de Mora, Mr. andMrs. Leslie Biffle and the Am-bassador of Pakistan andBegum All.
