U. S. Department of Education (USDOE) requires NWCCU to maintain accurate information and records on each member institution

Supports NWCCU standards and policies in areas where they overlap with the USDOE requirements

Collegial relations require NWCCU awareness of the particulars of an institution’s history, present situation and future plans
