Web technology is advancing very rapidly and, little-by-little, "old" webpages are incorporating increasingly complex and powerful services, thusconverting them into applications.
WebCenter is a prime example of this idea and, when employed in abusiness environment, can offer power and diversity.
In VASSIT we have created a solution that combines the accessibility andease of use of the Web with the power and capacity to interact usingbusiness applications based on the WebCenter framework.

What is Web Desk? It is a customized desktop for the integration ofbusiness applications that eliminates thecomplexities of software as it can be accessedonline.
Users can customize their own desktop so thataccess to information relevant to them.
To be deployed as a web application eliminatinginstallation and updating problems andensuring that users always have the latestversion available.
The off-line version allows users to work withdocuments when not connected to the web.
Collaboration is much easier and also eliminatese-mail document traffic that may lead to or lossof data.
