Matrix recently expanded into New York’s five boroughs with the announcement off a new 3.5 million square foot industrial park in Staten Island. Matrix Global Logistics Park - Staten Island, NY is a master-planned distribution park consisting of four buildings. Matrix is finishing construction on a 975,000 SF building (recently leased to IKEA), and an 855,000 SF building (recently leased to Amazon). Matrix has begun construction on a speculative 450,000 SF building and has one building lot remaining available for development. Sharing the benefits of a North Jersey location, the site has more efficient access to Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and Long Island. Perth Amboy Business Park (Located in Perth Amboy, NJ)
The 26-acre site that is now Perth Amboy Business Park was in need of environmental remediation to make it a viable industrial property. Matrix conducted a thorough analysis of the high-est and best use of the property while remediating the environmental condition according to the re-quirements of the Environmental Protection Agency’s Brownfields Initiative. Matrix, by working with the previous owner, Chevron and the City of Perth Amboy, removed any land-use impediments and pre-leased approximately 50 percent of the two buildings. The 450,000 square foot project brings an important, state-of-the-art industrial center along with new businesses and new jobs to the city of Perth Amboy. This project is fully leased.
Exit 7A Market - Northeast Business Park and Matrix Business Park at 7A (Located in Robbinsville, NJ)
For 2018 Matrix will complete the last two speculative buildings in it’s 7A land assemblage. For the better part of 25 years, Matrix has purchased, obtained approvals, marketed and constructed more than 10 million square feet of space at the intersection of the New Jersey Turnpike and Interstate 195. Business residents include Mercedes Benz, W.W. Grainger, Lifetime Hoan, Sleepy’s, McKesson Pharmaceuticals and Amazon, to name a few.
