Poets in Port
May 24th at 7:30 pm Poets in Port will take place at Caffe Portofino, 249 Main St., Northport Poets in Port evenings include a featured poet plus open reading The audience is encouraged to bring their poems and participate.
This month our featured poet will be Terri Muuss.
Village Hall Student Art Show
The Northport Arts Coalition, in cooperation with the
Northport Village Hall presents:
The Village Hall Art Show, featuring origianal works from Northport/East Northport Elementary School students. On display from May 4th through June. Formal opening on May 19th from 1 to 3
pm. Free and all invited. Northport Village, Hall located at 224 Main Street Northport. Regular business hours Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. For infromaton call 262-6675.

demonstration entitled "Ideas to Music: Composer, Orchestra
and Listeners" at 2:00 PM at the Harborfields Public Library.
May 31, 2013 - The Northport Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Richard Hyman,
will present a free concert at 8:00 PM at Northport High School.

Medal, by Kerriann Flanagan Brosky. May 16, 7:00 PM – Campari Ristorante, 255
Main Street. $60 prix-fix includes three courses and a signed book, plus meet the
author and book discussion. Call 631-757-6700 for reservations.
May 17, 5:00 – 7:00 PM – Copenhagen’s Bakery, 75 Woodbine Ave. Book signing and
discussion. Books will be available for purchase. Free cup of coffee for all who attend.
The Medal is set in Northport, and the book trailer was filmed in Northport.
Book fair and Puppet Show
Sunday, May 19 from 12 - 4 pm
The Long Island Author's Group (LIAG) is sponsoring a book fair at the Mill Neck Manor House on Sunday, May 19 from 12 - 4 pm. Along with a book display from some of Long Island’s most talented authors, a lively puppet show will be performed by Dreamlike Puppet Company. This event is open to the community and is free of charge!

A Rare appearance of Misha and Cipa Dichter, legendary pianists,
in a delightful Two-piano concert.
