I hope and pray our members are all doing well. Hopefully the quarantine will not be much longer.

I would like to thank Pam Baker, Chair of PaPa's Pizza, for Mcleod Hospital, Sandra Sparks, Chair of

Milardo's Pizza, for Waccamaw Medical, Linda Ferrero, Chair of Doesn't Matter box lunches for

Conway Medical and Sandy Mussleman Chair raising over $1000 for food and necessities for Backpack Buddies.

It warms my heart when we step up and give back to our community. 

Let's hang in a bit longer. I know we will all be very thankful to be doing the things we have missed so much.

“ThesethreerestaurantsaresponsorsofMyrtleBeachCorveAeClubacOviOes,andourmembershipwantedtosupportthemintheseuncertaineconomicOmes,”saidGerryGismondi,clubpresident.

“ThehospitalstaffsareworkingroundtheclocktotendtopaOentsduringthispandemic,andourclubmemberswantedtoshowappreciaOonfortheirOrelesseffort,”saidGismondi.“Thedoctors,nursesandalltheotherhospitalstaffdeserveourgraOtude.”

ClubmembersSandraSparks,FrankMorea,LindaFerrero,MaryellenGrabarz,PamelaBakerandTimWuennemanarecoordinaOngthedeliveryofthefoodtothesehealthcareworkers.

Gismondisaidthisisjustoneofthewaysthatthe200-plusMBCCmemberssupportcommunityorganizaOons.ThisyeartheclubhaschosenBackpackBuddiesandVeteransWelcomeHomeandResourceCenteraslocalchariOestosupport.Clubmembersraisedabout$1,400topurchasefoodforBackpackBuddiestofeedchildrenandfamiliesduringthisOmeofcrisis.SandraMusselmaniscoordinaOngdeliveryofthatfoodtotheBackpackBuddiesorganizaOononMay4.
