Some stepsfor transformation

of villages:

1. Agriculture

• Use of modern techniques.

E.g.: Hydroponics.

•Organic farming

Modern equipments like combine, field cultivators, tractors so on….

Modern irrigation system like drip system, sprinklers etc…

How it will benefit the poor farmers?

• Agriculture will be with reference to marketing place.

• There is going to be diversity in crops.

• perishable things processing industry.

2. Education• Modern education techniques.

E.g.. E-book, computer education etc…

• Government schemes

like: mid-day meal scheme.

: free elementary education.

:Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan.

3. Availability Of Water.

• Clean water supply

• Government implementations like:

:Accelerated Rural Water Supply Programme (ARWSP)

:Swajaldhara

Huge water tanks. Fresh water supply tankers

4. Roads

• Well developed roads.

• Many government schemes for better roads in rural areas or villages.

• It helps in transportation of goods.

Well developed roads should be constructed in villages.

Developed roads will make transportation of goods easier.

5. Electricity

• Electricity will be generated by solar panels, hydel power generation, etc…

• Each street light will have it’s own solar panel.

• Villages should use LED’s.

Solar LED light should be used in many of the villages.

Wind power generation technique to generate electricity.

6.Sanitation

• Closed sewage pipes.

• Public should not throw their garbage on the roads.

• Public dustbins should be introduced.

• Government introduced “Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan” for better India.

7. Natural Resources• More and more plantation of plants.

• Preservation of Endemic species.

• Stop cutting of trees.

• Water conservation.

• Government introduced National rural health mission.

• Availability of government hospitals.

• Awareness programmes.

9. Local jobs• People should engage in some local professions like mechanic,

vender, driver, etc..

• By encouragement of new growth centres in small towns.

• Use government policies like

: NREGA {National Rural Employment Guarantee Act}.

: Sampoorna grameen rozgar yojna.

10.Modern Gram Sabha

• Most of the seats should be reserved for women.

• Check spread of diseases – vaccination, inoculation, etc....

• Primary education.

• Construction: buildings, burial grounds etc.....

• Improvement, development of farmers.

• Some Feature Of Modern Gram Sabha :

:implementation of welfare plans.

:social justice and development.

:upliftment of women.

:economic development.

:development of infrastructure such as roads, waterways, etc.

SANSAD ADARSH GRAM YOJNA

• Government, semi-government, private institution and

individual have also come front and adopt a village.

• Some amendments have been done for giving priority to

SAGY for different schemes.

• Extra funds were injected via CSR infrastructure development.
