The Drassanes Reials, or Royal Dockyards, which house the Museu Marítim de Barcelona (MMB), are one of the most significant buildings associa-ted with the city’s maritime history and culture, and have been designated a Cultural Site of National Interest. They are an outstanding architectural landmark situated in the historic centre of Barcelona with several unique and versatile spaces which can be used for many different kinds of events.

This recently-restored, 1,700 m2 hall is 300 years old, and with its columnsrising up to support the roof, is one of the most characteristic and spectacularspaces in the Royal Dockyards.

The terrace belonging to the Museum restaurant, which is part of this space, cannot be used.Sound amplification systems are not permitted.Prior permission from the Consorci de les Drassanes Reials i Museu Martítim de Barcelona is required for shows, including music performances.

The Museum’s garden, which is the entrance to the Royal Dockyards,is an open-air space ideal for receptions, cocktail parties or buffets.
