SKELETAL MUSCLE (STRIATED MUSCLE)

Striated Muscle l.s.

On yellow pointers: NUCLEUS of the Muscle

Striated Muscle l. s.

Dark Band (A band): very fine light space in between is the H band, where the M line is found.

Light Band (I band): very light line in between is the Z line

Middle of light band to another middle of light band (Z line to Z line) = sarcomere

Observe the alternating light and dark bands
