us eful tools

Free Photo Editors

A lot of power for free editors!

Most students will have access to them from home.

Does the basics well without a lot of fuss.

Use friendly formats

New Account Setups

It is so easy to set up a YouTube Account!

YouTube videos are easy to upload.

Flixtime is a no-nonsense program with quick results

Really considered the Flixtime upgrade to add more pix in a project.

Posting Audio Tracks

Original audio was a two track done in Cakewalk, but exported in WAV format only

Found a simple free WAV to MP3 converter called SwitchSound File

Adjusted bitrate until it was 96kbps and in mono to make it small enough for free PodBean

mother of way cool apps… ”

Computer down? Don’t sweat it!

There’s always plan B!

Found great iPhone apps to edit video and pix:

PS Mobile * Shutterfly for iPhone

Camera + (WOW!!!) * Hollywood FX

challenges

What’s life without challenge?

Computer down, had to get creative with the iPhone!

Finding ways to compress big projects to podcast.

Soooo many options for editors and media makers.

Getting wrapped up in projects and losing track of time!

Remembering if I responded to enough posts

Futurechallenges

There’s gotta be a way...

My first audio project to podcast was multimedia mix of an Old Time Radio Show performance called “Three Skeleton Key”

mixed with a few photo visuals to get the kids started…

Old time radio performances are great in the classroom to increase listening and live performance skills.

Too bad the file is 18 megs and I’d have to get a paid File Dropper subscription to post it!!

, .Moodle etc

Learning anywhere!

I’m a first timer with Moodle…Love it!!!

Complete way to contact, post and share!

Learning doesn’t have to take place only in a classroom...or stop when kids get off the bus! Learning

should be a part of life

On line learning offers a lot of flexibility (and the ability to work anywhere…even on the beach!)
