March 31- April 4

Reading:Our reading story for the week is

Horace and Morris but Mostly Delores. We will be learning about

character/setting, ph,gh,ck,and ng words, and different kinds of pronouns.

Math:In math we are working on telling time

and reading/using graphs.

Science & Social Studies:In science we are learning about

magnets.

April 3-8: Book FairApril 18th – We will have school (make-up weather day)April 28th – DIBELS testing begins

Tests:

Thursday- Reading and Grammar TestsFriday- Spelling Test

I hope everyone had a safe and happy spring break!

Looking ahead: We have DIBELS testing at the end of this month, so please be reading with your child nightly. I will be sending some practice passages home soon, but in the meantime, the weekly stories or AR books are great choices!
