Call the office at 456-1259 to inform them that your child will not be in attendance for that day or the absence will be considered unexcused. If your child had a doctor appointment, send the “doctor excuse” to school with your child.

behavior, they will attend an AR Party every 9 weeks.

You child will be able to attend the AR CELEBRATIONS if the they meet their individualized AR goal.

By the end of 2nd grade, your child should be reading a 2.9-3.0 A.R. leveled text at 70 words per minute!

Lunch

Morning Assembly begins at 7:30am with pledges and announcements. The tardy bell rings at 7:45am. School ends at 3:00pm.

Students can not be dropped off before 7:15am because there is no

supervision. Principal or Counselor will hand out tardy slips as students walk in

after the 7:45am tardy bell. Tardies affect Perfect Attendance.

Tardies

If your child will be leaving early, please send a note in the folder so that we may have them ready when you come. Leaving early will also affect Perfect Attendance. For our reference, the Conduct Calendar will be notated if a student was absent, tardy or left early.

Academic learning occurs all day and students who arrive late or leave early miss valuable instructional

time aimed at their academic success.

Tardies continued

Any after-school transportation changes must be called in before 2:00pm. For safety concerns, students will not be allowed

to get off the bus. If you pick up your child after school, please be
