Homework Expectations Homework is assigned Monday –

Thursday

Homework includes: Reading, Fact fluency, Vocabulary Packet, and at least 1 worksheet

Students need to read 4 nights for 20 minutes or more.

Multiplication Fact Fluency: Our goal is 100 in 3 minutes.

each day

Assignments are due the following day unless noted on agenda.

Students with missing assignments including class assignments will report to study hall on Friday.

Vocabulary

Vocabulary lists based on prefixes, suffixes and root words.

Classroom introduction on Monday

Vocabulary Weekly (Packets due on Friday)

Parents may find a copy of flashcards to be printed off at home in Parent Vue.

Test every Friday.

Agenda

Students record assignments on Monday.

Homework requests for absences longer than 2 days.

Science labs and exit tickets are difficult to make-up. Often the student will be exempt.

• B=80-89

• C=70-79

• D=60-69

• Missing assignments

will be accepted up to

the last day of the

quarter. Fourth quarter the Friday

before the last day.

4 point scale

• 4=100%

• 3.5=95%

• 3=90%

• 2.5=80%

• 2=70%

• 1.5=65%

• 1=60%
