-I am developing a platform for physicians! And you?

BE PREPARED TO SHORTLY INTRODUCE YOUR PARTNER TO THE AUDIENCE

Let me introduce you to Irina! She is a wonder woman!

Irina creates web-sites in two programming languages, PHP and JS and raises her little son all alone.

Irina has got a very interesting idea for a startup - an app for young moms.

And she is really willing to win over Silicon Valley!

How does the ranking system help us

solve our code issues?

Take a look at the question!

The right question magnifies the real issue/problem and therefore scores points.

Is the question hard to read? No, it’s simple.

1. Take time to understand the question 2. Analise it’s ranking

At this point a very good English is not

needed!

If the ranking is good and the question is simple,

keep reading, because probably there’s an answer

down below

The answer is short and clear, because the

question was right!

Look for the right simple question!

TASK #6 «When are you going to

move to the Silicon Valley?»

TALK TO YOUR PARTNER!

Your main obstacle

Steve: What is the main obstacle on your way to the Valley?

Bill: Well, I don’t know Steve. Maybe English. I don’t speak English very well!

Steve: Yeah! Me too! But for me it is also lack of courage. As soon as I am brave enough, I’ll take my wife and kids and we’ll do it.

Bill: You sound like a crazy person. Why don’t you try to start your app right here?

Steve: I have already done that. But what about you? Do you not want to go there?

Bill: I do. But I don’t have money.

Present your partner’s position

Hey guys! This is Bill. He wants to go to the Valley, but doesn’t have money and he has not come up

with his business plan yet.

TALK TO YOUR PARTNER!

Let’s discuss strategy

Steve: Do you have friends in the Valley?

Bill: One friend of mine left there for a year.

Steve: Cool! How so?

Bill: He joined the Startup-Next accelerator program. It is good for starters.

Bill: Accelerators… urrr… Is this the only way to win funding?

Steve: I guess so, but I am not sure. You can always start as an independent businessman!

Bill: Yeah, but California is very expansive for a Russian coder with no huge amount of money!

Share your strategy with the audience!

TALK TO YOUR PARTNER!

Building future

Steve: What kind of an app would you develop in the Valley?

Bill: I think, I wouldn’t develop apps or something. I’d try to build an AI that can teach you English!

Steve: Oh no! Sounds really intriguing! Tell me about it!

Bill: It would create a meetup on meetup.com, invite the guests up to the library and then my AI would try to socialise with real people pretending to be a teacher.

Bill: Wow! Monetization of your AI would be a problem.

Steve: I guess so, but I like talking to her.

Bill: Wait! Have you already?..

Steve: Aha…
