DETAILSThe Charlotte Division of the FBI and the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department are asking for the public’s assistance to identify theperson(s) who threw what appears to be a firework-type mortar at officers on Saturday, May 30, 2020, in Uptown Charlotte, North Carolina.The mortar exploded and struck an 11-year veteran of the police department.
