The Project
KingZip Infiniti was key for this project as the client was looking for 3D geometry to ensure a continuous profile and a Dubai Civil Defence approved system.
The KingZip infiniti system from Kingspan Insulated Panels was used to create the roof of the Moro Hub, a new purpose built data centre situated in Dubai marina. The Moro Hub is also the first LEED Platinum data centre in the Middle East.
Moro is a Dubai Energy and Water Authority company (DEWA) and the design on the end of the building has been designed in the shape of a D signifying the link between the two businesses.
KingZip Infiniti was key for this project, to create a highly attractive building 3D geometry was required to ensure there was no compromise to the aesthetics.
A further key feature of using KingZip on this project was the total flexibility to manufacture on site. Both KingZip Linea and Infiniti are manufactured using mobile facilities that can be deployed worldwide. This enables design requirements to be fulfilled from an aesthetic, specification, performance and construction perspective.

Fire PerformanceNon-combustible solution. Our systems are fully approved by Dubai Civil Defence (DCD).
KingZip Infiniti
With mobile forming and curving machines, KingZip can be manufactured on-site from 1 metre up to 150 metres, allowing roofs to be constructed using very long sheet lengths, eliminating the need for any endlaps thereby enhancing weatherability and significantly increasing speed of construction.
