Moreton-in-Marsh has some lovely small shops, a thriving Tuesday market and plenty of dog friendly cafés. Don’t miss the Belgian beer- shop!
Walk to Batsford Arboretum along the Monarch’s Way for great views of the Cotswold countryside.
Visit Broadway Tower with stunning views over 13 counties.
Lots of the pubs and tea rooms in Moreton are dog friendly.
There is an excellent range of National Trust properties in the surrounding areas.

Visitor’s top tips
The Monarchs Way walk through to the Arboretum was lovely. The Arboretum was gorgeous but the star of the show is the Falconry, really fabulous and such a bargain.
The cotswold distillery tour was very interesting and good value for money.
Visit the toy shop and the fudge shop in Moreton.
Motor Museum in Bourton on the Water was extremely interesting. Well worth a visit. We also enjoyed a day at Adam Henson’s Cotswolds Farm Park.

Public transportThe bus stop outside of site has services to Stratford-upon-Avon. From Moreton-in-Marsh, buses go to Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water and Cheltenham. You can also catch a train to Worcester, Malvern, Hereford, Oxford and London Paddington.
