THE ALHAMBRA PROJECT: the origins!Originally: it was a proposal for a “MOOC” course to know the history, art & heritage of the Alhambra palace, with the support of the Alhambra Council.!Topics: introduction to the nasrid dynasty, how the Palace was build restored and preserved during centuries, an overview of the surrounding places (albaizin), the architecture and daily-life. Some of these sites was plenty of legends (i.e. tales of Washington Irving). !For a wide general audience: the aims are: learning, experiencing, engagement and collaboration to create an online community !

MEDIA TECHNOLOGY!Several storytelling media were used. !•  The MOOC course was built on a LMS (moodle) based on short video chapters (3’) for learning, participation (forum) and social media (twitter) using #MOOCAlhambra hashtag. !•  Legends (the wizard and the princess, based on W. Irving tales) is based on a comic-style web serie on youtube. !•  Role playing game based on a mobile app geolocation map where users become fan-tribes following on youtube/facebook four main character (twitter fiction identities). !
