News and information for parents at Monteney Primary School

Transcript of Monteney Mail Sept 2013

We hope you have had a wonderful summer holiday and your child has had a great first week back at Monteney. I hope you have been able to visit the school and see how it has been transformed into Narnia. The children have been

really inspired by the displays around school and this is evident in the fantastic learning they have been doing. It has been a fabulous start to the

year and we hope this continues throughout the year.

Attendance

As a reward to all of those children who achieve 100% attendance this year, SCSP has

organised a trip to Flamingo Land to take place at the end of the Summer term. Help your child achieve 100% attendance this year so they can be part of this exciting trip.

Dates

Parents Evenings will take place on Wednesday 16th

October and Thursday 17th

October. Further information will

follow.

It is really important that your child is in school every day. We reward good attendance in many ways at Monteney. Before the summer, those children who had achieved 100% attendance for the year had a special trip to Magna. They had a great time.
