Mitel 3300 to VoIPTalk SIP Trunk

1/. Create Network Elements for;

VoIPTalk

VoIPTalk Proxy

2/. Created a class of service for SIP calls. The important bits are;

Public Network access via DPNSS to be in the COS for any handsets accessing this trunk. Set the Public Trunk field to Yes.

3/. Create a SIP Peer Profile for VoIPTalk

Note the Outbound Proxy Server entry

4/. Create a SIP Peer Profile Assignment

In this example we are associating all inbound SIP numbers starting with the digit 8 to the VoIPTalk Profile. In a ‘real life’ scenario this may have to be more restrictive, even associating the full number (844105170) to the SIP profile in order to prevent clashes.

5/. Create a Trunk Service Assignment

Fairly simplistic here – all calls ring directory number 200. However, you could deal with inbound calls as DDI’s.

6/. Create a digit modification (to remove the 9 from dialled out numbers)

7/. Create a Route Assignment;

8/. Send some calls down your new trunk (in this case anything starting with 07 – mobile calls).

9/. Test in and outbound calls.
