    Scopeofwork

    EquipmentName: Raw Mill Dedusting Cyclones. EquipmentNo. : R1.321.CN301 JobDescription : Replacement of Raw Mill 4 Dedusting Cyclones Duration:13 days (2 shifts)

    TheScopeofwork:1. Erecting any required scaffolding for the Cyclones inlet and outlet

    ducts.

    2. Dismantling of any ducts, platform or ladders that may distract thejob.

    3. Dismantling of all the expansion joints.4. Dismantling, making any required repairs, and reinstalling the

    outlet ducts.

    5. Dismantling the top parts of cyclones CN301and CN321 andmaking them ready for Densit to be installed.

    6. Dismantling all the access doors and manholes from the cyclonesbody and erecting them on the new cyclones.

    7. Dismantling the 4 old cyclones and sending them to thedetermined scrap area.

    8. Dismantling the 2 elbows at the outlet ducts of the cyclones.9. Dismantling the rotary sluices under the 4 cyclones and installing

    them back after assembling the cyclones.

    10.Lifting to their positions and assembling all the parts of the 4 newcyclones with Densit installed.

    11.Assembling the top parts Cyclones CN301and CN321 afterinstallation of Densit.

    12.Replacing the 2 elbows of outlet ducts of the cyclones with 2 newelbows.

    13.Making any required repairs at the ducts below the 2 elbows.

    14.Assembling of all the expansion joints.15.Reerecting any Ducts, platforms or ladders that removed during

    dismantling.

    16.Dismantling the scaffolds after finishing work17.Inspection of the inlet ducts of the cyclones and making any

    required repairs.

    18.Installing insulation for the top parts and outlet ducts andelbows.

    19.Housekeeping for the work area after finishing the job includingtransporting any scrapes to determined area.

    ContractorObligations:1. A complete site surveying to know the site facilities, traffic for

    easy moving around the site.

    2. A focused surveying on the Raw Mill area (place of work) to

    know the access points and ladders for the Dedusting Cyclones.

    3. Required lifting equipments with a suitable capacity such as

    cranes, forklifts, chain blocks .etc. to be available in site two

    days before starting work and should be provided for all period

    of work without any additional charge.

    4. Required scaffolding material to be prepared and ready at the

    workplace one day before starting work.

    5. Provide the required hand tools and equipments (welding

    machines, oxygenacetylene cylinders etc) in addition to the

    consumables like grinding disks, welding electrodesetc).

    6. Provide the safety tools equipments needed according to

    NLSupervision safety policy.

    7. Provide the suitable skilled welltrained manpower with working

    license according to Egypts law, to cover 2 shifts per day (12

    hrs/each), for all period of work. (Under age workers will be

    rejected).

    8. Provide the accommodation, transportations and meals for his

    staff.

    9. Provide the required insurances for his staff.

    10. Contractor must provide a complete job plan [MS Project] with a

    dead line, critical path and time periods for the whole job and for

    each project operation with the manpower description and

    numbers on it.

    11. The contractor is obligated to do the housekeeping for the work

    area after finishing the job including transporting any scrapes to

    determined area if any.

    12. Follow up erection instructions and drawings of FLSmidth which

    will be provided by NLS one week before starting the job.

    13. The Contractor is obligated to get acquainted with the condition

    on site before signing the contract.

    NLSupervisionObligations:1. Provide the contractor with all the new parts (new Cyclones,

    expansion joints, bolts, etc.).

    2. Provide all power and safe light sources.3. Provide the contractor with the required drawings and manuals

    one week before starting work.

    4. Provide the contractor with NLSupervision safety policy andsafety training for the whole work group.
